STR have fastest speed trap, they have been doing it all thru FP1 and 2, but struggling rest of the lap, why don't they add a few degrees of d/f they would even up with rest of the field and be better around the turns, I have no idea why they R doing this

ohh Virgin has just over took them in speed trap WoW

The torro Rosso has the retarded ignition feature on it's Ferrari engine now. You could hear it and see it crystal clear in the practice sessions. It seems to be doing them some good.

Giogio Ascanelli comment on Formula1.com:

I think the team has done a good job and, first in Monza and now here, the car has made a step forward. That is not because of new developments, but rather that we have worked out how to run it better.

I like that guy.

Toro Rosso will use Ferrari engine + KERS next year:
Q. First of all a question to all the Team Principals about your engine deals for next year and also your engine usage this year. Are there any concerns about the eight engines coming up as we are near the end of the season. Franz?

Franz TOST:
Toro Rosso will continue the co-operation with Ferrari. We will run next year the engine as well as the KERS system from Ferrari.

What does the retarded engine feature do?

Keep air flowing when not on the throttle or something?
