Virgin Racing VR-01 Cosworth

It looks like they have adapted V nose concept. And yes it looks like there is single front wing mount. What could be the reason for this? Is it going to be some extension to splitter or? Gash... It's quite a pity, I had so little physics on my computer science studies ;)

Im quite certain I can make out and RB5'esque V Keel and nose bumps.

That is a bad ass livery.

 CG images don't make a car launch.. as cool as they have done it, that's disappointing tbh.

Can't work out what's going on with the front suspension. Looks like it's mounted very low on the nose.

What makes you think it's CG?

And they are going to release a short film shortly.

better pics that way. definitively a two pillar front wing. still no clear view of the diffusor. it looks like a pretty clean design. hope they get it on track soon.

Virgin Racing get the x-price for showing the first of the new team cars.

Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)

This has been nothing outrageous or fancy as a launch that's for sure, but it is consistent with their 'lowest F1 budget' branding that they've been running with.

..altho the delay hiccup sure isn't as smooth as what Virgin are usually associated with.
Wasn't expecting anything outrageous or assumingly expensive!

Just a website with a fancy uncover video, loads of pics and a cool press release to happen all at one go.

Virgin didn't take full advantage of its marketing expertise, and they are very good at it

It would look much better with a darker shade of red!
Colours always come out much darker on the TV screen. The 'british racing green' F1 Jaguars were in real life a very light metallic green.

This Virgin colour scheme is growing on me, I like the interesting swirls.

Lets just hope it's more reliable than my Virgin broadband connection / Virgin trains / Virgin phones...
