And the applause is for what exactly?

The FIA had previously stated that there would only be 2 DRS zones at the Canadian and European GP, and the rest of the tracks wouls only have one zone. Thus part of my surprise at there being 2 for the British GP.

Newey is really concerned about their loss of performance due to restriction of EBD.

I hope this is going to be an exciting race.

Putting it on the Hanger straight is a dumb --- idea... The only way to get past would be to get into the slip stream... this is what DRS is meant to allow you to do... Putting it right after a high aero series where you're going to be miles off the back of a car because of having --- all downforce is absolutely insane.

I apologise sincerely for contributing to the site and for being bored of off topic public bickering over nothing of any real importance.

Just noticed the pit entry, it completely skips the final 2 corners, any photographs of it in the flesh?

Since the starting line, which is the recharge point of the KERS, will move to a different point on the track. I was wondering if it will affect KERS managegment.

They never drove on this layout with KERS. I don't get it neither.

I'm interested in pit stop times, look at the pit-entry and pit-exit depending on where the speed limit lines are placed, this could be a short pit stop circuit, a bit like Magny Cours.

Can someone post the 2010 track beside the 2011 one please?

Thanks to Andrew for giving the race threads a consistent start, I appreciate it.

Here is the circuit evolution from wiki:

Removed the chaff from the grain. A whole page is gone.

This is how a race thread should look.
