That race, he won fair and square on the road. I honestly don't care what happened next. Lewis is not a stats psycho as far as i can tell. He surely would've remembered it otherwise when he was reminded about the prospect of scoring his first 3 in a row.

It wasn't going to be a 3 in a row even if he had taken that win in Spa because after the german gp was the hungarian and european gp's and then the belgian gp!!

I wonder if Seb is still blaming his car for a lack of pace in P1? Currently ~1 second slower than Dan.

Ros is 1.4s quicker than Ham. Must be ham's lack of pace 100%.

It's called an issue with the car, or do you think they remove the floor for no reason!

WHOOOOOOOOSH!

The point being made is that people are making out that Seb's lack of pace compared to Ricciardo is down purely to Seb, and not problems with the car.

Personally, with Lewis, it's clear that it was an issue with the car - you don't waste half the session over a non-issue. With Seb, it's less cut and dried. They claim to have had many issues with the car, but have not spent chunks of session trying to fix them. That I think is what makes people wonder if it's just excuses.

Precisely, Seb looked ragged in P1 compared to Dan who looked very precise.

Interesting first 30mins, Alonso fastest again so far and Dan 7/10ths faster than Seb.

Lewis should be out shortly as it looks like most of his car is back together.

Edit: Rosberg 2nd fastest.
