Probably not the thread for this, but on the topic of austria; Lewis had the pace for pole and was very quick, but his on-it lap got cancelled as he slipped beyond the track last corner. Then second lap, he was on it again until his rears locked up and he lost the car. While perhaps not a technical issue, but he probably was running a rear biased brake point at the limit. You learn with experience.

Anyway, Q1, here we go!
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Interesting setup for the race... Nico on pole, Lewis 2nd, but starting on tyres that are a lap newer!

Good thing for hamilton he's got W05 under him, otherwise he's nowhere. So much mistakes lol.

Why does Horner insist on continuing to tell everyone that the RedBull is the quickest in Sector 3? They're not, the Mercedes is. Horner is getting very boring with his moaning...

Hamilton doesn't look that bothered at the "top three photo op". Smiling and waving. Not the stormy looks we've seen in the past.

That's a substantial gap Rosberg has put in between. Quite interestingly Rosberg has beaten Hamilton on the tracks he's done well previously. The start will be nail biting tomorrow.

Good thing he hasn't got a Webber alongside eh  This championship would've been over loooong ago.

Bo77as with a good start will be a serious threat to Hamilton. Might be interesting how the race develops

Hamilton over-driving the car again, but maybe when you have twice the wins you are doing something different with the setup and mindset for the weekend.

Hamilton doesn't care at all, he had his 5 winning streak. Finish the race and the title is in the bag.

Half expected that to happen. Still think Hamilton will win the race though.

Ron has put another hint out on there that Lewis may be going back to McLaren. He says to Sky:

RD: “That is your suggestion not mine. But you presume that lets say there are three people involved in this choice, but I think you should stretch your imagination to four.”

Also, on BBC, he said the result of Sunday could very much influence their driver decision. That to me can only suggest there's a chance Hamilton could go there.

Too many mistakes by hamilton again. Rosberg has dominated q3 in the recent races.
