Nope, Nico's Q2 lap was the fastest time of the weekend and was also half a second quicker than Lewis.
Because by Q2, Lewis had already suffered a failed MGU-H.
You are wrong my friend. Lewis said he felt power loss when he went out for the second time run in Q2. His first run was fine.

:) How do you explain Lewis losing half a second in Q2? Before that, every run he was doing, was faster than Nico. He went on an out lap for Q3 and they realized his MGU-H was gone.

So it emerged in the race in Bahrain. Diagnosed Pre-China and then it broke down in Quali of China, got repaired and used in Russia, before taken apart again overnight and put back together. Then water pressure issues occurred during the race?

I'd say the engine was already bad from the beginning and it probably will only get worse.

Hamilton never went out for Q3, you must have watched a different Quali.
Hamilton never lost half a second to Rosberg. Rosberg gained that time. If you look at Hamilton's time, he improved his time as compared to Q1. So if his engine was having trouble at that time, he would not have gone faster than his Q1 time. Rosberg's lap in Q2 was a stunner, and you need to swallow that instead of making excuses about Hamilton's lap.

And, I don't care about votes, neither I am here to earn them. I was amused by the fact that someone is so jealous, that they found time out of their life to downvote me apparently because of no reason. :)

The 1.35.820 of Ham in Q2 was the fastet he did all weekend long (and would have been fast enough for P2 in Q3). Maybe that was all he could do and Ros was just faster? Maybe Ham didnt push all the way as he didnt want to show his hand and his time was quick enough by a large margin?

Jeez, the fact that Ros was faster than Ham in Q2 doesnt tell us anything. Merc is strong enough that they do not have to push too hard to get into Q3 so it is a moot point to try to read anything into the times of Q1 and Q2. We simply do not know whether Ham or Ros would have gotten Pole in Russia.

Race´s first laps were awesome with some many great battles!!! the rest was not so good but not bad either.

Rosberg made an awesome job and he showed he had the pace. Lewis was great too, sadly we wont know who was faster. Anyway Nico´s laptime after he suffered with the lapped drivers was almost unbeatable.

I was expecting more from Ferrari, its clear that the distance between them and Mercedes is there, Kimi´s race was not that good. Poor Seb, his incident with Kvyat was surrealistic.

Great race by Fernando, I think he needed just to erase all the haters. The performance of the car was encouraging.

Bad luck for Toro Rosso. Verstappen was doing a great job. Sainz is shaing the crown of the bad luck with Lewis during this season.

Nothing worse than the bandwagon fans Nico has now.
You must be joking, seriously. I have enough with some Hamilton fanatics creating very funny conspirancy theories. But the worst is people like Ted making stupid questions and feeding those fanatics. British media as its worst. Is it somekind of a competition between them and the Spanish media? because its embarrasing.

There were about 20 laps left with a 7 second gap, Nico would have been challenged for sure. Water pressure stabilizing itself sounds kind of silly to me as well.
Just another manipulation from Toto to give Rosberg a title before the regulations change or before his contract is up.
Rubbish. The gap was much bigger until Nico started to lap drivers, but you just can ignore this fact in order to feed your dreams.

To be fair to Hamilton
it's not like he started 10th, was 5th under Safety Car --> HE CHEATED 5 positions. NO!
https://youtu.be/GJKRtY5JdiY Easier with this video

He was 9th braking at turn 1, had to avoid Ricciardo (dunno if this counts as illegal overtake), when he rejoins after run-off he's 6th, maybe slowing to let Vettel even it didn't seem to much in the mood (like SPA with Massa years ago, for which he was subsequently penalized, wasn't he?)

Vettel actually slows down because of the punctured Perez's Force India (maybe Ferrari punctured also), with Hamilton overtaking on the inside, hence 5th position

So, if you account the slow rejoin to let Vettel pass, the overtake on Ricciardo that was avoiding collision, the kvyat moves and Perez puncture, you get the 5th during Safety Car

Man you cannot call the British media Bad or Worst. They are something beyond those words. After qualifying, 'Jesnson Button outqualified his teammate' was repeated like a million times by them. And no mention of Alonso finishing ahead of Button by quite some margin. They are so biased that you cannot describe it in words.

I think Merc may be even farther ahead than last year. The issues with Hamiltons car seems odd, but its plausible its just crap luck. He's had a lot go his way for years now, maybe this year will be a shift for the worse. Happens.

Gutted for VET. They should move Max into the Red Bull asap. Get him fully acclimated so he can press for podiums in 2017 with the new regs maybe opening a door for a Newey car.

Congrats to Nico.

That would be very harsh... Imagine Daniil's stituation:

- Turned 22 last Tuesday (so congratulations!)
- Home Grand Prix last weekend (so good luck and congratulations!)
- Caused mayhem and bumped Seb twice (tough luck, better luck next time)
- Loses his ride and Max takes his spot immediately (good luck with your career)

That escalated quickly...

Kviat didn´t ruin Vettel and Ricciardo race, he also ruined Perez (puncture on turn 2 incident), and Sainz (some part of Kviat front wing got into his sidepot wich force him to do his pitstop too early), so he ruined 4 drivers races apart from his in just two turns

This said, I´m not that harsh with him. First incident in turn 2 is obviously a mistake, but this is racing and incidents in first lap are common. In turn 3 Kviat said he didn´t expect Vettel braking at that point, wich makes sense when you see Vettel´s onboard. Perez was in front of him with a punctured tire in previous turn, so he had to back off. Vettel saw his car moving around some meters in front of him due to the puncture and slowed down, but Kviat was very close behind him and didn´t react soon enough, crashing with him again. Add to that Kviat front wing was damaged (part of his wing was inside Sainz sidepot at this point) so maybe he couldn´t brake enough even if he tried.

Unlucky first lap, but I wouldn´t say he deserve anything else than the penalty he already got
