F1 in schools-LERS

[Team Celer]

I'm from Team Celer, a Brazilian competitor of F1 in Schools.

After researching a bit of other competitros of other countries we think that one thing that would make our car faster is the LERS( launch energy recovery system). We are having dificulties to understand how does it work.

If someone understands it, please explain to us.
