Good news for Frijns. I read some team members of Sauber wanted him as a race driver instead of Esteban, so that's positive looking to the future.
Es gab teamintern aber auch Stimmen, die Robin Frijns (21) gerne im Cockpit gesehen hätten. Der hochtalentierte Holländer rückt für Gutiérrez nach und wird der neue dritte Sauber-Mann

This has not been an easy decision for us to take, but we have committed ourselves to a new beginning ...
She probably meant they've commited themselves to money.

I hope Kamui finds seat for next season.

the conservative tyre choices of Pirelli in recent races have not really played into Saubers cards...but it did not play into MGPs cards either...

When the choice is so conservative that it means everyone is a tyre-saving beast, then the original tyre-savers of course wouldn't shine anymore. But with MGP in a way they have hurt MGP - in that they're now the only ones who seemingly can't one-stop.

Now that would be something.
"...and there, very much in flames, is Jacques Laffite's Ligier. That's obviously a turbo blaze, and of course, Laffite will be able to see that conflagration in his mirrors... he is coolly parking the car somewhere safe." Murray Walker, San Marino 1985

Wow..... This could radically change the pecking order.. Something like the BMW era Sauber challenging for podiums a bit more perhaps.. Depending on the specs of the Porsche Turbo V6 maybe a bit more. I wonder if Honda might return with McLaren they are experts at squeezing great power out of small Engines Let alone Turbo... It could be like McLaren from the 80's

Sauber from the BMW era and maybe BMW itself should comeback with Williams...... All companies at their best.. The 2014 season has the potential for absolute greatness. Lets just hope Porsche and Honda return and idk maybe even BMW(I have nothing to support this I'm just wishing here) Toyota.... I really do hope we see at least the return of 1 manufacturer to Formula 1.. But yes I hope it's Porsche with Sauber..
