Would Caterham have to adapt the noses to meet the new regs?
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

i'm pretty sure they would have to.
otherwise the other teams would ask why their car has to meet the regs while there are cars that don't.

Surely it's time to call quits here isn't it? Actually it was months ago but any news?

They have designed and built a nose to 2015 regs. They have got them ready for crash testing, they have also done a good bit of work on the front mechanical set up as well. They have has 85-90 folk working on the project and have another 30 ready for if the team can be saved in a 13th hour deal. If a Marussia solution can be done, as looks possible now, as the auction has been postponed, id say Caterham are in better shape now.

Id wager a £1 coin with any bookmaker on there being 22 cars in Australia.

Really? Is there a source for this? How can they operate without funding and in admin?

Pardon? Did I miss something? I thought even the scraps of paper at Marussia had been sold, we've even got pics from the auction.

The auction for the 2014 cars and trackside equipment has been delayed (not sure exactly why), there might be enough there to run a skeleton outfit but it would have to be run by an established race team as all of their manufacturing base, infrastructure and maintenance equipment is long gone.

Apart from the wind tunnel model I don't think there were any 2015 parts. I bet there wasn't the money to get beyond CAD data.

Caterham Sports Ltd is the name of the company who have taken the rights of the company and all its naming rights and its image and IP rights (minus the the IP for car design) and all associated things like Merchandise and such. The Value of this company is worth £25,000.

In this day in age, people buy these companies once they go under liquidation in hope someone who wants to buy the name in the future. These companies are essentially shell companies with only a few employees if any more than 3 or 4, they do make money off of merchandise and such (like a Spark 1:43 model) and will trade to a small profit each year.

Buying and Selling naming rights is a industry, however there is more buying than selling these days.

I also checked Caterham Sports Limited here: http://www.bizdb.co.uk/company/caterham ... -07042086/ and I can see the company's filings from October 30, 2014. On Thursday 14th August 2014, the company was seeking a Junior Receptionist to fill a post in Langley. They offered a job with wage from £13500.00 to £14500.00 per year.
