offtopic; am i the only one who absolutely hates seeing driver helmets change into corporate reflections of the team theyre driving in? martini on the top of the helmet, redbull on the sides, etc etc.

Guys, yesterday's race was a proof to end the conspiracy theories about 'not the same engine'?

Well i didn't expect to be this bad, the 36 was better than that in Hungary and Singapore, a lot better, getting trounced by Force India's, Lotuses and Sauber's was a level of bad i didn't expect.

Anyway a raft of upgrades is expected for the next 2 GPs, let's hope they bring the team forward, a lot forward.

New FIA flexy wings directive potentially targeting williams?

Compare merc flex vs williams flex (starting at 2:55). Difference is huge.

Huge? looks entirely within reason to me.

What? I see a very pronounced flex on the williams as they brake from high speed, and very little on the merc.

Edit. Somers appears to agree with me:

It now depends on how much force is needed to flex the wing for more than 3mm. If it more than 60N then they have nothing to worry about. Hopefully we'll have some FW onboard shots in Canada to see if anything at all changed.
