Not exactly - German plates must follow a certain order (go figure  ):
1) first one to three positions: Registration city / county, all letters
2) next one to two positions: letters
3) next one to four positions: numbers
Vanity plates are pretty boring here...

What company chipped your car? Having any clutch issue so far?

I'm thinking of getting Unitronic Stage 1+ eventually (260HP / 295LB-FT), but I heard the original clutch can't withstand the additional torque load and burns out after ~10,000 km... :(

Can't remember the name but it was just a plug-in standard map (not Bluefin or Superchips). I've been running it over a year and its been fine. I think stage 1 remaps don't really require any changes to clutch, cooling, etc as long as you are reasonably sympathetic to the car. One thing that did make a massive difference was the Whiteline antilift kit - it makes the front end much more planted and is very noticeable on track (tracked mine 4-5 times on a set of 16s).

As some might identify from my profile pic, I own a Lotus Exige S2, model year 2005 (yeah, the one without drive-by-wire and traction control 8)) with some mods, precisely race cat & exhaust, light battery, racing oil pan and supercharger+charge-cooler kit by Bemani (~275bhp), which is quite a lot considering it only weighs give or take 900kg.

I regularly track the car or drive in the Alps here in Switzerland. I've also done a few long trips, most notebly Zurich to the South of France (St. Tropez) and driving pretty much every mountain-pass along the way, including passes like the Col d'Iseran (highest mountain pass in the Alps) and the Montecarlo Rally course (Col de Turini). Took me around 17 hours straight (I did it in one go) while doing it. When I did this route for the first time in 2011, I took some inspiration from TopGear, when they did their search for finding the best driving roads (Season 10, Episode 1).

I've owned this car now for 7 years.

Other cars I've owned (nothing special) are a BMW 328i, Citroen C2 and a Smart () for my daily drives. Looking to buy myself a new daily drive next year... At some point, I might also eventually decide to part with the Lotus.

Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Well what a coincidence - I'm a 2005 S2 Exige owner as well! I absolutely love this car to bits! So much fun.

Point and squirt, just how I like it...
