Mine goes something like this:

I did my driving licence in an Hyundai i30, diesel i think 09 or 10.

My first car which i drove alot was sisters Renault Twingo 97 , which i really loved, even though im 1,92m high. I like its simplicity and small size which enabled me to park it everywhere. She still has it and it runs well, with practically no rust at all.

Once i drove my aunts diesel Toyota Yaris 06. Not really fond of the cars design (both in and out), but i liked the kick of the diesel engine when it climbed out of the turbo lag.

Next one was fathers Kia Pride. Yes, Kia Pride  Oh man, i even got it in my possesion for one month before it became too dangerous for the road  . It had 7 year rust guarantee and suprisingly it started to rust exactly when those 7 years had past. The whole car was a bit barbaric, and it had some silly features like electronicly extending radio antenna. The brake discs were so tiny, they were like CDs for Nintendo Gamecube if everyone else would be using normal discs :)

Then my father bought 1.2L Renault Clio which i was able to drive occasionally. In my opinion nice car, but the engine is too weak for its size and weight.

3 months ago i was finally able to afford my first car (used), and i choosed a Kia ProCeed, 1,4L 2010. And i must say i like it very much. It is very comfortable, suspension is a bit stiffer but not uncomfortable at all, it corners well and i really like to look at its ass when its parked :) . The only thing i still need to do is to correct my parking position almost every time, since i still havent adjusted to a wider car.

Oh the memories  :

oh this list would be very very long.... I think i'll just post the cars that made a impression on me or were special.
First off, I think I wouldn't dare to drive it today, my first car:

mk4 triumph spitfire - no seatbelts, no cage, a real death trap. damn it was fun to drive

Saab 96 v4 - i saw the whole of Europe in this fun little car. Painted it with flames on the sides, big stereo and off to Berlin. Because the pedals were almost in the middle and the car didn't have a center console, you could drive his from the passenger seat.

Porsche 996 - I liked this one way better then the 997, raw, the no diving when braking, the always steering in (and ass that didn't). Last real car that was a bit scary to drive sometimes

Mercedes w204 C320CDI AMG Estate - In our household known as "the beast". Had it chipped, massive amounts of torque and a very very nice gearbox. From Holland to the south of France in 7 hours and a perfect fit for my long body (210cm/6'11")

Mercedes W115/8 200D - from a 250hp diesel to a 50hp... traveled the UK with my family this wonderful man, relaxed with style

Renault Twingo 2002 - orange, well... brownish. economical, open roof, sun, driving trough the netherlands for my job earning money with every km (I got 28ct a km, while it only costs 10 to drive). Just a fun little bugger.

Oh yes, at the moment car-less, giving this public transport a go....

Hah, since i'm an JLR techician i have driven every JLR car from the 1980 till today, the only cars that stands out from that is XJRS 5,0, F-Type R on a track, Range Rover Sport SVR And Range Rover SVO LWB.

Big Porsche enthusiast so have driven lots of old 356, 911, Cayenne, Macan and Boxster.

My first car was a Porsche 924 with 944 body panels, then a Rx7 1980 1,1 then a lot of boring cars, up until i got my beloved Porsche 914, tuned up 2,2 engine, stiffer suspension and semi slicks tores, very fun car, nearly as fast as my late dads boxster S.

What car do u drive and what have u driven so far?

Post

Driven:

2004 Seat Altea 2.0 TDI. Still got it, it's huge. Lots of body roll which is noticeable during load transfer. Meh visibility out of the car. Absolute mile eater with >1000 km drives possible with piss breaks. First generation 6sp DSG is the smoothest automatic tranny ever. Speedy fuel sniffer. (5.7 L/100 km over 900 km @130 kph) Only car we own as a family. Could use taller final drive.

2011 BMW M3 DCT: AWESOME SOUND. LAUNCHES LIKE A ROCKET. UPSHIFTS ARE ADDICTIVE. BREATHTAKING. Hint of understeer.

2014 Dacia Lodgy 1.5 dCi: ABS was defective. Driving in rain was a dance with the gods. Huge body roll, everything in the car jiggles, sh1t gearbox, 90 hp. Was a rental car of the company I work in, they swapped it.

2015 Renault Fluence 1.5 dCi: Nimble. Rear feels like it's on jelly, but grips well. Hint of oversteer. Quite comfortable on long journeys. Fuel sniffer. (5 L/100km over 400 km). 110 hp may seem low but not too shabby. Steering feels weird at times. Surprisingly capable off road. Nice gearbox but could use a taller final drive.

2009 Subaru Outback 3.0: Awful steering. Not as powerful as it looks on paper. Unfazed by snow with right tyres. Bad slushbox tranny. Drinks fuel.

2012 Ford Fiesta 1.25: Very agile and nimble. Goes through every gap in traffic. Revvy 1.25 engine sounds nice at times but underpowered. Fuel consumption not too bad for a gasser.

2009 Mercedes CapaCity articulated bus: Driven on empty yard for 5 min. HUUUUUUUGE SIZE AND MASS! Surprisingly easy to control. Ultra smooth. Cannot fathom driving it through urban intersections.

I drive a Honda Integra DC5, more or less standard bar some polybushing and some nice carbon lined synchros. Incredibly quick car and handles absolutely brilliantly. Probably the most economical entry to performance cars and it's really raw too, which I love.

My first car was a 1.4 206, which was a great car except for failing both mechanically and electronically...

Had a wired in race style flip switch to turn on the high speed fan because the whole front electronics are prone to corrosion, the rear axle failed and was on its way out a second time!

Currently own:

- 2005 Mitsubishi Colt CZT - 1.5 petrol Mivec Turbo - around 200bhp with mods in a car which weighs just 1000kg - great fun but thirsty so I use it only on weekends :)
- 2013 Mazda 3 1.6T diesel - great handling and comfort, fuel economy is impressive!

Past Cars:

- 2x 1991 Suzuki Alto 800cc petrol - slow but only weighs 600-ish kg, loved the gocart-like handling - both were still running but body rusted away
- 1996 Mazda 323f BA 1.5 petrol - very reliable, not so brilliant on fuel but not too bad, handled like a dream - 180k on the clock and still running well last I saw it
- 2001 VW Polo 1.4 petrol - didn't like it at all, sold it after just 2 months

Cars Rented:

2014 Fiat 500 - loved the handling, build quality and styling
2016 Opel Corsa - Was fully loaded with gadgets and extras but nothing too impressive
2013-ish Ford Transit - Way too big for every-day use and slow but handled like a much smaller vehicle which was unexpected
2012-ish Vauxhall Meriva - not too bad but nothing special
2012 Renault Clio RS - rented it for 6 laps round Nürburgring - was fitted with upgraded brakes, tyres and suspension - handled like a dream (as expected), nothing out-of-this-world power-wise but loved the linear powerband
+ ohters which i probably forgot
