How to remove a progam which has uninstalled incorrectly?

Using Apple computers is another convenient way of getting rid of the virus problem. The safety concept is much better to start with and it is less attractive to virus hackers.

Most antivirus has protection to keep a rouge program from uninstalling it, leaving your PC open to attacks.

AVG for example needs to be uninstalled in Safe Mode. This may also be true of Avast.

You might want to also try the Avast Uninstall Utility.

Dave Killens beat me to this, I just noticed. This is what to do, third party utils to uninstall virus software are NOT recommended.
