Short gear ratio n gear elimination

All that has to do with the power train, gearbox, clutch, fuels and lubricants, etc. Generally the mechanical side of Formula One.

Well here is the news ladies and gentlemen:

Jumping some little ramps was no hard at all! (Beyond my 0 experience riding bikes)
In general the bike is very light and easy to handle, my bicycle experience was enough to do it quite well. Next week I´ll try with bigger ones

Only one problem: accelerating! Often, pointing towards the ramps, I forget to shift weight foward and opened full throttle suddenly (lack of sensitivity) so the front wheel launched like a rocket and I ended in the floor a couple of times, got my arm, shoulder and back full of "strawberries", but thats all!
Its incredible how fast does that little devil accelerate!

Yes, that was what happened to me, but I fall "standing" (on my feet) several times. That's what I tried to explain: to "grab" the bike with knees, hands and even with your teeth. :) If you don't, then the bike will roll the front wheel upwards and/or left you "behind".

Hurrah! Nice one Belatti - a jump!

Yes - even a little CR80 has a hard hit when it comes on the power with short MX gearing ;)

Yeah, the little beast has strange and peaky powerband, power comes suddenly without warning and the accelerator has a very short travel, like 1/8 turn and you are full throttle. Till 5th gear the front wheel is still in the air .

Ciro, to me it was impossible to fall standing on my feet at that speed. And if I grabbed more, the bike would have fall in my chest  .

The funny thing is the accidents came late, when I said: "Its OK, its easy" and relaxed a bit.
