I guess it worked well, there is no Vodafone contract with M-Sport, it was just a spanish april fool:

Funny how rumours can spread those days

On the other hand, it is true that Nasser Al-Attiyah (who brought Qatar onboard) will only complete few events next year in the WRC so Qatar will probably drop. Here is an alternate look that could have been nice to see this year:

I am forgiven now I hope :D

WRC cars entry for the Monte-Carlo rally 2014:

I doubt it VERY MUCH, but will we see a private entry for Volkswagen (or Citroën) this season?

All cars have gone to the ceremonial start under heavy rain. Snow is announced for the high cols of the rally, which should bring us engineers head scratching moments! :)

I wish we had coverage of the WRC here in the states. Highlights of stages is all I can see and that's not nearly enough.

Wohoo! What a action on Monaco day 1

Robert Kubica show instantly that he could fight for the podioum. No wait! He is in a play for victory. 39s are nothing if you look on what all sort of can happend in one corner..

Sad for both Hyundais KQ. Sordo elctric problem after S3, Thierry hit a telegraf post in S1 just after 6km.

Damn! He would have moved up to second if he had'nt crashed out (only one on the same pace as Sebastian Ogier). Interesting to hear/see what happened. Anyway, it's looking good for the rest of the season (just wait untill the asphalt rallies in the second half of the season) when he's driving like this on a first time rally with a new co-pilot. =D>
The speed of Ayrton Senna.
The mind of Alain Prost.
The dedication of Michael Schumacher.
The determination of Alex Zanardi.

Kubica crash: [From my experience from CMR2 it didn't look good way before the corner ;-).]

After first day Kubica said his season goal was to win a stage and for Monte to finish. I think these goals changed and there were some risks involved looking at the split times compared to Ogier (too close), Meeke, Ostberg etc. This stage was different than others and it's important. Pace on those normal stages was sensational, I like "demoralised" description from WIlson.

I think it's exactly what he should be doing, there's no pressure, the real racing starts in the second half of the season or in 2015, pressure is on factory drivers Hirvonen/Evans/Ostberg (pace), Latvala, Neuville etc. At least there was a trade-off here, pace and possibility of result. Ogier has no competition, the rest is nowhere, pity about Bouffier's spin.
