To me it is very clear, rossi tried to shut the door while both were side by side.
Look how much gap here while they were clearly side by side.

And now Rossi shutting door.

2015 - Indianapolis.
Look, Rossi did same move on Pedrosa, that Marquez had done on Rossi at Assen. Here, unlike Rossi, Dani took evasive action. If Dani would done same to Rossi, both would have probably been out.

Brno: George takes his 5th win of the season, & top spot in the Championship points score to boot..

Too bad it was a fairly sterile/processional race, with only Dani-boy having to contest with the Ducati-mob
as a bit of dicing-action.. otherwise, it was a typically clinical 1-2-3/Y-H-Y factory bike ride, start-to-finish..

Another Moto GP topical link..
What do current riders think of the prospect of race riding 500cc 2-strokes?

The responses tend to confirm each rider's style..

Yeah, funnily enough - this very topic is one that I'd raised earlier in this thread..
.. but was I was admonished for doing so, by a certain moderator.. & the post deleted - for 'derailing'.. L.O.L...

the link in the post above can allow viewing of a brief article by Kevin Cameron on the history of Yamaha's cross-plane crank
saying that CP came about to improve corner exit
it could be taken to disclaim actual traction benefits as would be suggested by 'big bangists'

clearly (eg to 'Gordon Blairists') with a common airbox/plenum the power/rpm curve would vary with different firing intervals
eg the CP crank might have a power curve better for corner exit than would a conventional 'flat' crank

the conventional crank has even firing load intervals but uneven (reciprocatory) inertial load intervals
the CP crank has uneven firing load intervals but even inertial load intervals
at very high rpm the inertial loads will nearly equal the combustion load in magnitude
and of course inertial load frequency is much higher than combustion load frequency
so inertial loads may dominate the crankshaft design ie the CP crank may allow eg smaller bearing diameters and less friction
and a CP crank might only need 3 main bearings - do we know what's inside the MotoGP bike ?

Moto GP rpm was 13000 ish in the early days
(F1 style fast-burning fuel had been requested by MotoGP, but it definitely did not materialise then)
later rpm became 17000 ish
and today still seems high, considering the reduced fuel allowances

Moto GP 4-strokes have always been revving well above 13,000rpm T-C,
& the desmo Ducati 800s were turning ~19,000..

Recently the rules proscription on engine architecture/longevity has tempered this range..
( 4 cylinders only, fixed bore size)..

Yamaha went to the H. Fath URS-type 90` crank configuration with their inline 4 - to emulate the V mill cranks.

One thing I've noticed while being at brno gp is how much louder both repsol hondas sound compared to all other bikes. Ducati, while being more powerful has nowhere near the pitch or volume compared to honda. Yamaha is even worse in that regard. And moto 2 bikes seemed the loudest of them all.

Agreed, it can be painful to stay trackside for a full Moto2 session! The engine noise is piercing to say the least. The Honda engines in Moto2 can be really loud..

Care to elaborate on how their answer to racing a bike they've never sat on (excl Rossi), as confirmation of their riding style.

Sure bdr..., match the responses to riding/personality styles..

George.. careful - measured - serious - disapproving VS Mark.. hilarious - into it - up for it..

& as for those shrill, screeching, same-same Moto 2 Hondas, they've long outstayed their welcome, IMO..

I'm not sure "hilarious" is a riding style
personality yes, riding styles no

Well for sure, watching some of M-M's riding antics - have made me L.O.L...

George is a usually a bit clinical ( I don't say 'boring') - by comparison.

A change would certainly be welcome in Moto2, its a very difficult series to watch, like F1
Moto3 is where the racing is 8) it's a true riders championship!
