How did FP in Silverstone pan out?
Is there anyone who can provide some times. I saw in WEC app that Audi's were fastest trailed by Porsche's and Toyota's, no times.
Thanx in advance.

Does the 8 megajoules give Porsche an qualifying edge?

Acctually on Silverston it is not 8MJ that is for Satre circuit. If we use regulation equation we got 3.76MJ for 8MJ class (rest you could extrapolate).

And answer is yes. If F1 doesnt have problems with 4MJ than Porsche could do decent race pace also.

I was asking that because i've heard people saying that going for the top class would benefit at Le Mans but not so much at the rest of the championship.

Didn't know about those rules, changes things quite a bit.

Yes ... the Jani - Fassler stint battle .... that Porsche straight line speed advantage must be driving Audi nuts..
I've not watched much WEC racing , but having watched the above battle ... Audi fast on the bends ... 1300bhp? of hybrid Porsche on the straights .. constantly overtaking each other ... makes this mornings F1 look tame.

That was a good battle to watch, reminded me of the 2 stroke 500s vs 4 stroke 1000s in Motogp during the first year of the switch over.
