*BUMP SUPERCHARGED*

The celebrations for the 75th anniversary of TC began a couple of weeks ago. (According to guiness book of record, TC is the oldest one in the world)

More than 60 TC racing cars and 60 TC Pista ("B" series) cars took part in a highway caravan, thats more than 46.000 HP joining Buenos Aires with Mar Del Plata city 400km away! There were historical cars in perfect running conditions as well. The meaning of all this has to be with the fact that TC started in 1937 as a road-rally sport. Traffic norms had to be respected, so the event was a headache for the engineers, who had to add cooling, shorten the gearbox in order to allow high rpm at low speeds without clutch suffering and soften the cars suspension.

Here I post some videos, more than a million persons showed up at the start and its hard to calculate how many there were at the sides of the road and at the arrival.

Some curiosities and funny things: cars stopping for fuel at gas stations, a couple of "hungry" drivers stoping for a burger at McDonalds, people helping a driver to change a punctured tyre and old men who once saw TC at the roads getting emotional...

ENJOY!!!

A very sad weekend here in Argentina, again. Two weeks ago an 11 year old kid died in a kart accident. It was just bad luck, because those accidents are common in karts and in 99.9% of the cases, the driver walks away....

Yesterday another accident in TC, but this time it was avoidable. In the (always dangerous) remodelled "Juan Manuel Fangio" track in Balcarce. The track is in a hill`s slope and has few runaway areas. But the thing that really contributed was dirt at the sides of the track. The same happened at India in F1 or Korea last year: recently finished constructions where things like this remain undone and any car going off track generates a huge cloud of dirt.

This happened on Friday qualy with Canapino´s car. It was a brake line failure.

Now this was 3 laps to go on the sunday race:
