I'm happy if the drivers are allowed to be as fast as possible. Endurance drivers should be able to evaluate the risks and avoid them, if that's not the case, they should be in a formula.

Porsche could still win a class, the HPD had smoke coming from the electrics when he pitted and lost many laps. Now, the #6 RS Spyder is leading with a 6 lap advantage.

It never appeared as the car's best lap on the timing, so I don't believe it. Furthermore, RLM was earlier talking with a Michelin guy, who told that, even if in the evening the tyre compound would go softer, the track was going to be slower.

Yep, I hope you're right. It's getting tight between the two Pugs!

I think we've just seen the result of that

LOL. Too bad the Drayson car had to deal with that...

Wow there's a ferrari on fire! That's a serious one. Is it #2?

Here comes the fifth neutralisation.

Favorite parts of this race so far...

1) Corvettes colliding in the pits.. c'mon man! (sorry, anyone from PME!)
2) RR wheel flying off the same car on consecutive stops.. c'mon man!
3) Announcers mindless chatter about tires

Loved the Hindy's quote about the tire incident. "It's always a bad day when you get overtaken by a bit of your car"

Damn, there's a tatoo on the track! It's cute but it very nearly became a steak on the back straight. :o

BMW swapped positions at 2nd and 3rd on the last lap when Mueller spun it. LMP2 result was a real surprise.

That drayson car was ridiculously fast from what i have seen, they could match the peugeots pace pretty much, loved to see that.

Also pirros overtaking on Minnasian i beleive through traffic was simply genius

Well, they were ALLOWED to race each other and, bar endurance-specific factors, like the need to preserve tyres or fuel, I didn't see any signs they were performance-limited.

I believe the funniest thing to be that, with the narrower Diesel restrictors in place this year, there is obviously less pace advantage, but there is now a HUGE fuel economy advantage from the Diesel camp...
