Hey guys, i'm Mark and i'm studying for a BSc (Hons) Degree in Motorsport Engineering. I'm in my 3rd year now but i've been working in motorsport with various race teams for the last 5 years.
I'm currently getting my Peugeot 205 up to scratch to compete in the local sprint/hillclimb series (up to 1400cc Production Modified class) as it's been a 4 year development project but i finall decided to get my ass in gear, stop pissing about and do it peoperly. I've been watching F1 since i can remember and it's good to see it back on form in the past two seasons, who would have thought 2 years ago that a relativly unsponsored team and a drinks manufacturer would be dicing for the title. Oh and Bernie Eccleston is a weiner and needs to be locked in a dark room...all alone. |

Hey, I'm Francisco (Frank if you prefer) I'm from Argentina and currently I'm studying graphic design @ the UBA, hopefully I'll be done in a couple of years.
I've been watching F1 since I was like 7, big fan of Jacques Villeneuve & Ferrari (I know, kind of contradicting). Actually i've been a member for a while, but I don't know why I delayed introducing myself here. Anyway, I'm not sure I'll be able to add much in the technical area I also think Ecclestone is a senile madman, kind of like Max Mosley... Cheers!! |

Hi guy's
Sadly I'm not highly technical like most of you but I do go into one of the teams on a regular basis (have done for 15 years on and off) so I do see/hear the odd bit of gossip. Thanks for letting me play Oh and as everyone seems to feel the need to comment about Bernie: I believe he isn't quite as senile as some fear... Multisync |

Hi!
Been here for a little while but just found this thread. I'm from Hong Kong. Graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering. Working as an IT specialist in some financial institution. I got nothing to do with racing or F1 except I've been watching F1 for a few years... Found some of the discussions here very insightful, so I'm glad to be a part of this community. |

Well, in my "proximity" I have Japan, China, Singapore and Malaysia - but I've never been to any in person. |

Hi guys,
just want to introduce myself. I'm 28, I'm from Luxembourg, working as a sound engineer since 2006, and just about to get my licence for 2010 to compete in our national hillrace-championship in a Nissan Skyline. Since I can think, I've been a fan of Formula 1 and racing in general. I don't have that technical background that most of you have as it seems, but I really enjoy learning stuff and by reading through threads on this board, I tend to think that I understand a bit more of that mystical thing called F1. On a sidenote, I used to be a supporter of Jean Alesi back in the days and since his departure, I jumped on the Alonso-boat. Cheers, Oridori |

Hi All, long time follower here, first time posting. I'm not very technical when it comes to the engineering side of things in F1 but have been a huge fan since the 70s.

I'm thinking it's Northern Ireland. Correct me if I'm wrong there Welcome all to the forum, it's nice to see some real F1 people joining the forum too. Hi.
I have a passion for cars and racing. I'm not at all a technical person, more of a romantic one. Some of you may have noticed that. I'm a long time reader... and poster. I just wanted a new nickname. |

My old nickname was a bit too unfamiliar sounding for most foreigners. Too easy to misspell etc. Besides I love pandas. And no more capital red letters lol.
I'm working on it. |

Hi everyone.
I am Deep from India. I have done Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. Aheading for postgraduate studies in UK, I am very much interested in Motorsport especially in Aerodynamics and Designing. Though I have offer from Imperial College London for MSc in Advanced Computational Methods of Aeronautics, Flow Management and Fluid structure Interaction, but I am in dilemma whether it will help me to enter Motorsport technology field. Kindly put your expert comments that can help me deciding whether MSc course at Imperial will allow me to enter the related field or I must step into Cranfield's MSc in Motorsport Technology and Management. which is more beneficial? With hope to get advices With Regards |
