Omnicorse.it says Marco Fainello, former leader of the performance group of ferrari f1, is now working for the road car department, i.e. is in "gardening leave".

Fainello has been a key man in the past for ferrari, being responsible for vehicle dynamics, performance and simulation, even if he was not as famous to the public as tombazis. Omnicorse goes on saying that maybe fainello will join costa at mercedes gp.

What do you think?

Well being that Ferrari has upgraded personnel in all simulations departments I think for one they'll be fine. But I think Fainello will most definitely be picked up by another team. He has lots of experience and plenty to offer.

Yes they have taken Tortora. But upgrading is one thing, putting new people at the head of every key department in the same year is another. Now probably they will announce that the new structure guy from mclaren (Heal?) will repalce Terletti and the process will be complete.

Yes Heal has already started working is helping upgrade getting the process of manufacturing composite materials to not depends on 3rd parties.

As for Fainello, he will be at Mercedes AMG shortly as he was a man of Costa and it's only logical to follow him.
