2012 Testing - Jerez 7-10 February

The experience from last season should help against sandbagging, at least for top teams, because if we look back, the pole position ( or front row start ) was quite important. McL loose a lot of races because not managing to pull pole or front row. They did say that attention was paid very much for that in 2012. So probably every top team should try high-end qualy settings, and that's not possible with high fuel loads. Especially for say Ferrari, with a whole new concept, they have to find a qualy setup in testing IMHO.

I refuse to buy that. Carteham did 139 Laps on a single day & the other day I also remember them doing close to a 100 Laps.

I found this on this site Mileage update: Lotus leads the way. However I checked the official TLS timing and you are right Catherham did 358 laps in total so the stats are incorrect.
