Not exactly an image, but here is Michael Schumacher giving interview in 1983 about why he chose to start a karting competition for Luxembourg rather than for Germany:

1) In Germany you have to pay money for participating in qualifying.
2) Minimum age for karting in Germany is 14 years (in Luxembourg it is 10).
