100 laps for Rosberg with I believe still 3 hours to go. The sum of all the other's their laps comes at 119.

He's still going by the way. 150 laps for Rosberg on day 1?

Rosberg did a 42-lap run on Hard Pirelli's.

Vettel sets the fastest time, Autosport suggests he's on a low fuel run. It was a 3 lap run.

Rosberg set his laptime in the morning, in a 11 lap run. The difference is around 1.5 tenths of a second.

Rosberg doing a 1.23.953 on hard tires on his second lap of 42. That looks ominous, if indeed Ferrari was on low fuel. Maybe it was just a short stint, doesn't mean they were on low fuel.

Anybody an idea what those unmarked tyres are? Maybe the new 2015 supersoft tyre?

Concerning Vettel, it was a 3 laps run with soft tyres according to f1-direct...

Well autosport reported two consecutive flying laps so must have surely been a 4 lap run.

In any case, as much as anything it's likely they were checking sensor readings/electrical power (I.e. Whatever their earlier problem was) on that run.

Well, even if it is on a short run, his time has come HALF WAY INTO THE FIRST DAY. Last year, on day 3 (day 4 it rained), Fernando set their best time of FIRST WINTER TEST, a 01:25.495, where Kimi set a 01:27.104 on first day. Looking at those statistics, its not bad for Ferrari. With a great deal of change in design philosophy, I am sure there is more to come through further learning.

even though it sounds trollish as hell, I think ALO certainly made a mistake leaving Ferrari... at least regarding 2015.
35/1 VET WDC somewhere... O.o

More from Sky F1's Ted Kravitz who has just returned from a Sunday lunch watching McLaren:

"The Honda guys are still ironing out the system glitches. They fire up the car occasionally to see if the fixes work, everyone looks hopeful and for the last couple of times they have cut the engine and the work continues. On the last occasion, Fernando left the garage to take lunch in the McLaren hospitality unit to spend lunch with his father, manager and new girlfriend Lara. 

"Something I did find interesting is that when Fernando is in the garage he is mostly talking to Peter Prodromou - presumably Fernando now has all the time he wants to quiz the ex-Red Bull aero whizz on what made that car so quick and what he has planned for the McLaren. Ron Dennis is also keen to stay in the garage to keep an eye on proceedings - he hasn't left the pits for the last hour. Ron spends his time gazing at the car and talking to Eric Boullier."

13:50 Ricciardo is back in the pits now, having whacked in another 1m24s lap before he did so. Rosberg and Bottas are currently trading blows in the mid-1m24s.

I agree with you, misfire means less power from the ICE and a serious strain on the components, but what is the efficiency of the gas generating cylinder+turbine+mguH+mguK? isn't a turbine more efficient than a reciprocating engine?
Maybe mine was just a silly idea, but I was just trying to extract something meaningful from those runs :)
This is a shakedown test, they'll be putting the power unit through various tests to compare data gathered on the dyno's, they'll also be checking how the power unit works with McLaren's electronics and also gathering other data. It's a bit much to expect McLaren Honda to roll out of the garage and run the power unit at full tilt. They've got many things to do, but so far they've done quite well compared to what Red Bull managed last year. Slow and steady is the way McLaren Honda will likely go in this test, ramping things up later on. Don't forget this is probably not the definitive Honda Power Unit, they could still make subtle changes before the FIA deadline. Anyway they are bound to have teething problems on day 1 of testing with the MP4-30 and Honda Power Unit getting it's first proper running.
