Mclaren MP4-30 Honda

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

This looks like a new wing. The upper deck on the far right has 3 elements. Below is a wing they ran in testing last week.

Great picture showing the coke bottle region of the McLaren. That is some ridiculously tight packaging going on there.

Those 3 element cascades have been there from the beginning. Check back old pics.

The car is gorgeous in its shape and ultra-tight packaging. If Honda can deliver its potential Alonso could compete at the sharp end of the grid.

Has McLaren managed to seal a bigger sponsorship deal with Johnnie Walker? I see it everywhere on front half of the car. I hope this is not just for Monaco as black livery very well complements Johnnie Walker logo. Maybe change in livery color was triggered by this new sponsorship deal.

I never noticed these little fins at the end of the head restraint, it seems like the always have been there though. Monaco top view images always make one notice those extra little details :-D
