Looks like Checo is still not sure where he will drive next year. Does FI is not giving him what he wants or his sponsors are controlling his future ? As a SFI fan I hope he stays. Otherwise, SFI will only have Gutierrez and Pastor as the only choice left.

There's also the option of Pascal.

I think Perez is an asset for FI, he was bringing 20-25 $ million plus 4 podiums in three seasons, no SFI driver has done that before. Pascal might get the drive based on his experience with Mercs powered Manors but he will have to bring some bucks here, in millions. Mercs team will have give away the engine with 50% discount to get Pascal a drive at Force India.

Force India can not go Perez
In Williams, many drivers are traded for the two cockpits. Besides Jenson Button, Valtteri Bottas and Lance Stroll now Sergio Perez. The Mexican has 15 million dollars from its sponsors in the back. But Perez would be free to buy at Force India. Vijay Mallya insists on his contract.

Ugh, that Google Translation....

The article quotes

which would be correctly translated into...

Force India will not let Perez go. Lots of drivers are being connected to both Williams drives, among them Jenson Button, Valttteri Bottas, Lance Stroll and now Sergio Perez. The Mexican has a sponsorship backing of 15 million dollars. Perez would have to buy himself out if he were to leave ForceIndia, as Vijay Mallya is set to insist on the contract being fulfilled by Perez.

:D
Perez himself said he hasn't sign a new contract with FI, so I'm not sure how the team is going to stop him from going wherever he wants

According to La Stampa, Ferrari is trying to bring in Maranello Paddy Lowe (from Mercedes). Lowe would have given his disposability

Makes sense. Think about the insight Paddy Lowe could bring. And isn't his contract up for renewal anyway? But one would think Mercedes would be a fool to let him go, but if Paddy doesn't want to stay and wants a new challenge, who is to stop him?
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

That's right. Paddy specifically left Mclaren because of he wasn't listened to as much as he should have been. He was one of those against the team messing with the development of the car to bring Button up to speed. And going to Ferrari as TD would actually be a demotion from his current role as a "Semi-Team principal" at Mercedes. It would be back to being pushed around at by arrogant Bosses.

Yeah it's on autosport. What happened, some Renault big wig watched Baku :-) and they like extra cash more than anything? What strikes me in this leak is the backwards logic:
However, there are understood to be concerns about pairing Ocon with either Kevin Magnussen or Jolyon Palmer, with either potential combination not seen as strong enough to push forward next year.
- They start with Ocon and look for suitable team-mate which makes zero sense. In 2016 they were so confident in him they were too scared to put in him in GP2, competition and reference points - bad for marketing, development - secondary. If they think Perez-Ocon will challenge Merc - good luck with that. Still everything upside down.
- Concerns with Palmer? As if they were planning to keep him?
