New livery for Monaco
I've read that it will remain for the rest of the season due to ''better'' car visibility

Just to throw a little bit of color theory into the conversation and highlight that even a team as well funded as HAAS is can still make some mistakes no billion dollar company should be making.

The problem with the HAAS livery this season has been the GREY/RED combo are exactly the same value - or so close that it doesnt matter.

When you put a color on top of a grey and both share the same value - you're not getting any contrast. Under most lighting conditions, the sidepod HAAS logo was basically invisible when shot on TV cameras (photographic equipment is much different and irrelevant giving that HAAS is in F1 to promote its brand on TV cameras).

To highlight the problem I'm sharing this side by side image shot on photographic equipment. The right hand image has only had 1 process done to it, full desaturation. The HAAS on the sidepod is basically the same tone of grey as the grey bodywork.

Now this problem is even worse on TV cameras.

Now if you see the WHITE HAAS logo on the rear wing is still highly visible under de-saturation.

Kid's, if you're going to spend a few billion to promote your brand on TV, learn some basics of color theory.

I wonder from the whole brake setup, which part isn’t from Ferrari of at least the same supplier...

According to sky if you watch free practice the issue seems to be with the BBW coding that Haas must do themselves

Magnussen was outstanding in Azerbadjan, great stuff from HAAS.

Is MAG having brake issues too or is it just GRO? I never seem to hear anything about MAG having these issues.

As far as I remember MAG's brakes also haven't been the greatest during this race.

I wonder what GRO does to the brakes, MAG had a great race and we didn't hear any complaints on the radio, while GRO sounded like he was ready to retire.

afaiu they switch to carbon industries as soon as they have the cooling parts sorted out

Grosjean has been having brake problems since day one with HAAS.

i'm not recalling Guiterrez had it in the same capacity as Grosjean though, and i don't believe Magnussen is having the same amount either, which would point that the issue is more driver-related and could be down to driving style, though one could also argue that Grosjean is pushing the car more or is getting more out of the car, hence why he had better results.

If I remember correctly, all the teams struggled with the BBW system when they first had to use it. Haas has had a year and a half so it's about time they get to the bottom of it.

why have the FIA not intervened on safety grounds ?

i understand any brake problems are magnified by tv transmission of radio chat but it seems every single race GRO has problems, however if there is a genuine problem and its a recurring one, why are the stewards/FIA not getting involved?

maybe im missing something but in these safety conscious times surely something needs sorting out
