So now you have added a lip above each screen, dont forget the 2 cameras as well, and the wiring from each camera. Plus any fitting for each screen plus the cameras will need some housing so they dont get wet or dirty.Manoah2u wrote: ↑Fri Aug 04, 2017 8:56 ameh no. facts tells you otherwise.
iphone 7 weighs 138 grams including battery. battery weighs about 30 grams. that equals 108 grams without battery.
mirror weight: 160g per unit , right here specified on f1technical.
that's over 50 grams lighter on each side, a 100 grams in total.
how is sunlight going to be direct on them in a frigging tight f1 cockpit. at the worst, they'll put a small lip on the top and add an anti-reflective layer on top of it, really not an issue.
Dumpster sounds so much more classy. It's the diamond of the cesspools.
Very good point. From watching the video it looks like gravel traps shaped like that would probably cause a problem for drivers trying to wriggle free from 2017 cars as well. However the more we complain about gravel traps, the higher the likelihood of the FIA filling them all in with tarmac.NathanOlder wrote: ↑Thu Aug 10, 2017 1:32 pmA quick question, if the Halo was on Senna's Mclaren in 91. Woukd he have got out his car when he crashed in Mexico ?
Look how hard it was to get out, remembering that the Halo wont sit on top of the gravel, it will probably sink.
I just cant see how this is going to be easy when the car is in Gravel.
