LOWE NOT COMMENTING ON KUBICA TEST

https://www.f1today.net/en/news/f1/2325 ... ubica-test

Lowe said this on the rumours of Kubica joining the team: "I cannot comment on anything right now. All I can say - as everyone already knows - is that we have a few options. We are aware both of what is on the market and the need to strengthen in all areas.I have already made some changes in the way the 2018 project was conducted, and at the moment I am satisfied with what I can see."

This was a happy little read. Great to see Paddy hard at work in what's certain to be a long term rebuilding project. Still hopeful for my Williams Porsche Martini Racing 2021.

any insiders here? just to show thumbs up or not for the tests - are the garage people happy with RK on board?

Looks like Robert Kubica was faster than Paul Di Resta! That is the only detail :)

Aww, that really does show you are born into an F1 family, them putting you on the car first race you are on this world.

yes, it is. I looked it up, thought someone from the team had died for the white on black, with date, but no, it's a happy occasion indeed :)

and from Sky F1 (a possible hint?):

Felipe Massa says he had held no fresh talks with Williams about a 2018 seat.

In the week in which the team tested Robert Kubica and Paul Di Resta in a 2014 car in Hungary, Massa told reporters at the US GP "I have nothing to say or answer about that" with the Brazilian focusing on his own weekend in Austin.

"No talks," Massa said when asked if there had been any change in the situation.

"I was quite clear when I talked to the team, I was quite clear about what is the situation, and now I need to get the team coming back to me to say 'yes', 'no', whatever."

The 36-year-old hopes to know his fate by the time of his home Brazilian GP next month.

"I hope so - it will be good for everybody," he admitted.

Massa is set to retire from F1 should Williams not retain him.

Please don't do another Brazil GP goodbye walk.

It was great at the moment, but re-signing with Williams made it rather embarassing and awkward now.

while also sending off 4 Hamilton players to make it more interesting"

Williams NEEDED him, so it's not Massa's responsibility. And now they are acting as fools. :D
