May as well kick off the thread for this week's testing. Do we have any photos so far? I want to see some improved 2009-spec cars.

Maybe it is some kind of private testing? With only one team in action?

From what I read only Williams is testing today. Maybe that's why the pictures are taking some time. They are using Rosberg, Nakajima and Hülkenberg during the week.

McLaren (Kovalainen, Rosa and Paffett), Ferrari (Massa and Raikkonen), BMW (Kubica, Heidfeld and Klien) Renault (Piquet) and Toro Rosso (Buemi, Bourdais and Sato) will join tomorrow.

Red Bull will test in Jerez next week, while Toyota will go to Bahrein.

Isn't Ferrari going to Bahrain, too?

In the last years Toyota and Ferrari went testing in Asia after the new cars were ready. I just don't get why Toyota will go there alone.

Hamilton said recently he saw the new bits for next year. Hope the tests will bring something to light then.

Testing starts on Tuesday, but Williams have started early only to give F3 driver Dani Clos some track time.

Does anyone know if Honda F1 has suspended all actions or will they be testing over the winter?

I posted this in another thread, fromautosport.com:

"Honda have agreed to fund the team until March, but at nowhere near the level they would have done if they were sticking to their plan to return to the front. It means that Honda Racing will skip the next two pre-Christmas tests in Jerez, and also a change of plans in terms of the timetable for launching the new car."

Ross Brawn: "We were scheduled to have the new car running at the end of January and now, because of a probable engine change, we are scheduling the beginning of March."

From what i know they won't be doing any on-track testing. but they will continue testing the car in the windtunnel and their chassis rig. lets hope that would minimize that disadvantage.
