Jordan 191 front suspension brackets

Hello from Russia! :)
At present I build model Jordan 191 1/20. And your help is necessary to me. Guys, help me please to understand with a front suspension bracket. In any way I will not understand how it made and how it works. ](*,)

Perhaps somebody can explain me its device? In a photo it is visible that there only one spring. But how such device can effectively work?

This is called a Monoshock suspension layout. The idea means the car is stiff when both wheels move in the same direction, but softer when only one wheel moves. Although this is good for braking and aerodynamic forces, the car will roll more in corners. To overcome this springs are added, part (5) on RacingManiac's picture

That is a basic description, for more information have a look at Formula 3 forums as they often use Monoshock front suspension
