A shameless image thread for the enginephiles

All that has to do with the power train, gearbox, clutch, fuels and lubricants, etc. Generally the mechanical side of Formula One.

A shameless image thread for the enginephiles

Post

Myself and sombrero have discussed this for a while and his latest contributions in the quiz-thread got me all wet,
so here is the thread where you can post you most p*rnographic of engine-images totally shameless.

Please sombrero, bring on the Matra and Alfa-pictures and I see what I can do on the CanAm-side!

Just to begin, the Porsche flat 16;

No takers yet, did I overestimate the interest here?

This is a winning thread.

I have a few cool motors on my desktop pc - I'll go get them onto photobucket and into here.

I am loving the GPL era motors - that nest of pipes on the 312 is just all of the awesome.

Would anyone have any decent pics of the 1965 1.5l V12 Honda?

Glad you like it, I love the BRM H16 above, but I'm waiting for images of that awsome but stillborn Alfa Romeo 3.5 V10.
