Toro Rosso have officially confirmed that Sebastien Bourdais is leaving the team. Pity, I was looking forward to him being hot property, but turned out to be a damp squib. Shame he never adapted to F1 cars. He'll have to go back to the US and prove he's still a good racer now. |

Yeah I was always amazed at how he dominated in the US. I too had big hopes for him in F1, but alas.
Too often guys come over from IRL or CART and fail. I think about the only guy (recently) to make a success of both must be old Jacky Villa. |

I am also a fan of Sebastien Bourdais, and I am disappointed he was never able to come to grips with Formula One. He has all the skills required, but somehow, it just never worked out.

I wonder whether STR will employee (read: borrow) David Coulthard from Red BUll to help with setup of their car with the new parts on it?

bye Sebastian Bourdais.
STR is quite a strict team eh? Some thrive on pressure, others don't. |

Prost was very correct when he said that Bordais attitude was way too negative to be successful.

It's not like STR have ever had any positive attitude.

HE would probly have no trouble taking Doornos' seat at Newman Haas, but I dont know if he would be interested in running Ovals.
There are 6 more seats opening up in F1 next year, hopefully, unless Ferrari deem that against the "DNA of F1" |

If you believe in USF1 then you'd be a fool not to believe in Manor.
USF1 is like communism, looks good on paper but, well you know the rest |

Seeing that have teamed up with Wirth research I would give them a good chance of staying on the grid for the whole year, but they entered under the impression of a budget cap, but the that no longer is the reality, a huge shame that is. It would have been nice to see what they could have gotten done with the proposed removed technical restrictions. |

Peter Windsor as very happy to tell the speed viewers this weekend that the carbon fiber that BGP uses is made in Charlotte NC, where their home base is. And capitalism looks good where? not even on paper |

They can still run under the proposed budget cap willingly that is. It's their money and they can spend it the way they want. Yes, they'll probably be around 3 seconds slower per lap that way but that's not bad for a first year. Looking at the Force India example I wouldn't be surprised if the three new teams close the gap considerably in the next 2-3 years. (We bash FiF1 for being slow but we forget they were 3s slower a few years back and last time I checked Sutil had a good chance for some points.) |
