Even though the Indian team was adament of using their newly introduced seamless gearbox at this weekends Hungarian GP, they have decided to only use it during Friday's free practices. Race drivers Giancarlo Fisichella and Adrian Sutil will have to wait at least until the European GP held in Valencia to race the new unit.

'Autosport' had a chat with technical cheif Mike Gascoyne where he explained, "We had a very successful introduction of the seamless shift gearbox at the test last week in Jerez. We do however need to accrue more mileage before racing it."

This despite having ran it for more than one thousand kilometres during last weeks test session.
