Ron Dennis will always be a great person - di Montezemolo

This morning, at the launch of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes MP4-24, Ron Dennis announced that he would pass the role of Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Team Principal to Martin Whitmarsh on March 1st. Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo had the following to say about the resignation of Dennis:

\"Despite all the polemics and the many clashed we had, Ron Dennis will always be a great person. He and his team have done some extraordinary work over the last decades. I don\'t think that he\'ll completely leave Formula 1. I appreciated the support he and all the others are giving to FOTA.\"
