The established pecking order has been overturned - Domenicali

After day one of the 2009 season, one can only conclude that the established teams, like Ferrari and McLaren, will have a difficult year ahead. More teams than ever seem ready to battle with the front runners and Stefano Domenicali has noticed this as well.

Domenicali said: "One cannot really draw hasty conclusions after just three hours of free practice, but the first signs seem to support what we saw during winter testing. The pecking order that had established itself in recent years seems to have been overturned and we now find ourselves up against different and more numerous rivals."
