Kovalainen fastest in first free practice

Heikki Kovalainen has put himself on top of the timesheet in the first free practice in the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend. A last minute attempt put him ahead of Nico Rosberg in the fastest Williams and the second McLaren of Lewis Hamilton.
Newcomer Jaime Alguersuari meanwhile had an interesting debut as he posted a best time just 0.2 seconds slower than his teammate Buemi. Although that didn't get him further than 20th position, it is still a remarkable achievement for someone with such little F1 car experience and without knowing the track from an F1 cockpit.
