Massa to undergo surgery, out for Hungarian GP

We have learned that Felipe Massa will have to undergo surgery to his head following the crash he made today during qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix. Immediately this also means that he will not be able to compete tomorrow's race.

Felipe Massa got hit by a heave spring that came loose of Barrichello's car that was driving ahead of him. He has a head cut and a brain concussion, while bone damage to his skull will require surgery.

Ferrari have also confirmed that Massa will remain under observation in intensive care at the AEK hospital in Budapest.
