Ferrari F10's debut postponed

It should have been an appetiser for Felipe Massa: 100 kilometres to shoot some video's for the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro's partners, but snow and ice here in Maranello - yesterday and today - didn't allow the Brazilian driver to go onto the track with the F10.

The decision to postpone the single-seater's debut on the track has been taken in the morning after a last check in Fiorano. The technicians are less worried about the state of the track's tarmac, but about the run-off areas covered in icy snow: so there is no point in taking any unnecessary risk and even maybe damaging parts of the car. Felipe will have to wait for another 72 hours until he can finally drive his new car on Monday, 1 February, on the "Ricardo Tormo" circuit in Cheste just outside Valencia.
