Schumacher's pace is a problem - Brawn

That Michael Schumacher is having difficulty behind the wheel of his Mercedes W01 is evident by his lack of points in comparison to his teammate Nico Rosberg, the current tally has Schumacher at 10 and Rosberg at 50.

Mercedes GP Team Principal Ross Brawn has clearly admitted that the seven time champion is having difficulty with his race pace compared to Rosberg, and that while he was improving since the first race he has suffered a downfall in China.

"His pace is a problem. Michael's problems are difficult to understand. It's not the difficult corners, but the technically simple ones," Brawn shared with Germany's 'Auto Motor und Sport'.

"Until now he has been getting closer and closer to Nico, so what happened in China was totally against the trend."

Rosberg finished ahead of Schumacher on all three days of the Chinese GP, while also landing his second podium finish of the season.
