Too many things more important than racing in F1 - Raikkonen

By on

While it is obvious that Kimi Raikkonen never gave much importance to the politics and show side of F1, once again he reminds us of why he left and doesn't quite miss it. And while he is actually getting payed by the Scuderia Ferrari for the 2010 season, the Finn is rallying in the Citroen junior WRC team.

"In formula one there are too many things that are more important than the race. It is too political and no one says what they think because they're afraid about being taken out of context," Raikkonen explained to 'Spox.com'.

While exclaiming about rallying, "Yes, I love it. It is very, very exciting and the biggest challenge of my career."

But is his career at the pinnacle of motorsports in the history books?

"I wouldn't say that. We'll see. First, let's take this season right to the end and then clarify some things. Then we'll see."
