In what could be a change of strategy for the Scuderia Ferrari they have announced that if the Italian GP does not allow Fernando Alonso to significantly reduce the gap between the other top drivers they will move away from developing the current chassis and instead go 100% towards the 2011 machine. Alonso currently has 141 points, 41 behind the Lewis Hamilton. With the team 80 points behind RBR.

Stefano Domenicali, Team Principal, shared with 'Corriere dello Sport', "Should Monza go really badly and Red Bull’s lead continues to increase, then on Monday we will begin to use all of our staff and resources for the project of next season’s car."
