Rosberg tops Barcelona Sunday
After two days of having Vettel on top of the timesheets, Nico Rosberg put his name on the list by going 0.3s faster than second quickest, Vitaly Petrov. Third fastest was Lewis Hamilton in the McLaren, for the first time complete a considerable amount of laps.
The day again started on a damp track, with thick clouds in the morning preventing the track to dry out quickly. As such, the Pirelli slicks were only used on track past the noon break. The difficult track conditions caused some problems for Felipe Massa and Sergio Pérez as they spun off the track, but neither caused irreparable damage to their cars.
Today also marked a chance for Giorgio Mondini to test the HRT once again. The Spanish team has still not made public who will join Narain Karthikeyan as a race driver in 2011.
