McLaren have today revealed their provisional pre-season testing schedule, showing that Jenson Button will debut the new McLaren on 7 February at Jerez De La Frontera. One week earlier, McLaren will officially launch its new 2012 contender on 1 February.
At the first winter test of the year, Button will take the first two days, followed by 2 days of testing by teammate Lewis Hamilton.
The 4-day test at Barcelona, starting on 21 February will first see Hamilton in the car for two days, followed by another two days with Jenson Button behind the wheel.
As of 1 March, the team will complete its final winter test with Button debuting, then Hamilton, another day for Button and eventually Hamilton completing testing duties on the final day of testing before the first GP.
