Alonso tops rain-hit first day at Mugello
Fernando Alonso went fastest on the first day of testing at Mugello. The times however probably don't mean a lot as the session was severely hampered by rain. While the early day running still allowed for some wet running, the afternoon was even worse as rain intensified.
Several teams introduced car updates, but the planned introduction of further changes was prevented due to the lack of possible running.
Mugello testing will continue tomorrow and on Thursday, with better weather expected on both days.
