Upcoming Belgian talent Stoffel Vandoorne has been added to the roster of The Sports Partnership, mainly thanks to Jenson Button who personally contacted the youngster.

Vandoorne is part of the McLaren Young Driver Programme since the beginning of the year. He is the reigning Formula Renault 2.0 champion and is currently leading the Formula Renault 3.5 championship, ahead of Magnussen, da Costa and Stevens, all of which are running at the current Young Driver Test in Silverstone.

The 21-year old said to Belga: "Button was looking for help young drivers manage their careers, and that is how he ended up with me. As long as Jenson drives though, he is not very much involved in the partical side of the business. It's mainly for marketing that it is very interesting for me that my name can be linked to Button".

The Sports Partnership currently also manages, among others, current F1 driver Paul Di Resta and former Red Bull racer David Coulthard.
