Davidson and Rossiter begin Monza test

After a five week break from testing over the summer, the Honda Racing F1 Team began a three-day test at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Italy this week. Anthony Davidson and James Rossiter began the programme today in chassis RA106-02 and RA106-06 respectively.

Anthony worked through an aerodynamic evaluation in the morning session followed by an evaluation of the tyre options for the Italian Grand Prix and a further short aero programme. Anthony completed a total of 101 laps today. James spent the day focusing on tyre work also for the Italian Grand Prix, completing a total of 114 laps in total.

Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello will take over the driving responsibilities at Monza from tomorrow.
