Convinced we'll continue to improve in 2007 - Heidfeld

The team members and fans of the BMW Sauber F1 Team experienced a very satisfying debut season. Nick Heidfeld, however, is already looking forward to next year and predicts a further improvement of the team's performance.

"I have a fairly good feeling about next year because we were able to continuously improve in 2006, because we have good people in our team and the atmosphere is great," says Nick Heidfeld. "But if you know Formula One, you know how difficult it is to predict the future. I am convinced we will continue to improve in 2007."

Future success of the BMW Sauber F1 Team is, however, not only dependant on the team's own improvement next year. Naturally, all other teams are also constantly working on enhancing their performances, as Nick confirms: "The question is: How strong are we in comparison to the competition? It's not like how it used to be in Formula One racing. There used to be only a few big teams, and then there was the rest. Nowadays, Formula One racing partically consists only of big teams."
