Honda begins final test session of 2006

The final Formula One test session of 2006 began in Jerez this morning with ten of the eleven F1 teams in action. Christian Klien and James Rossiter will be sharing the testing duties for the Honda Racing F1 Team this week.

Both drivers began the day completing long runs on the Bridgestone tyres before Christian completed some electronics work and James ran through an aero evaluation, completing 53 and 52 laps respectively this morning.

Christian then completed a short aero evaluation, followed by chassis set-up work over longer runs in the afternoon session, finishing the day with 123 laps. James also completed a chassis set-up programme over short runs with one longer run at the end of the day, completing 97 laps in total today.

Both Christian and James will continue their driving responsibilities tomorrow.
