Pollock reveals Villeneuve's unique ambition

Craig Pollock has supplied a fascinating insight into the driving motivation behind Jacques Villeneuve's prolonged racing career, revealing that the French/Canadian wants to create a unique record of motorsport wins.

Already a champion in Formula One, Indy Car, and Indianapolis 500, Jacques will race for Peugeot in the Len Mans 24 hours race this summer and has already publicly confirmed that he is ready to join the NASCAR series in 2008.

"He can't win seven Formula One world championships - Michael Schumacher has already done that - but potentially, he can be one of the great race drivers in the world by winning all sorts of different championships," Craig Pollock told TSN at the launch of JV's debut music album.

"He wants to win Le Mans. It's something he's never done before. He's done open wheel racing. People might find him going to NASCAR unusual, but which Formula One champion has ever had a chance to win the NASCAR series?"
